For those of you who are looking for more management-related reading material, I recommend the McKinsey Quarterly Top Ten Newsletter Q3 2009.  Half of the articles listed there only require that you register for a “free” account, whereas the other half require a “premium” membership, which I assume must have something to do with paying money. 

This is a “teachable” moment insofar as McKinsey’s pricing strategy is concerned.  It seems to resemble Chris Anderson’s so-called “freemium” model; Mr. Anderson is the author of the book Free: The Future of a Radical Price, which managed to find its way on the Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Longlist
